Barnstorming Return For White Roe

August 16 - Promising New Approach (IRE) four year-old White Roe resumed from a winter spell with a barnstorming win at Morphettville on Saturday. 

The Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas trained gelding overcame an outside gate and 60 kg, to storm home and win by three-quarters of a length over 1200 metres for Clare Lindop.

A $90,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase for his trainer from the draft of Mill Park, White Roe has the overall record of four wins and five placings from 15 starts with prizemoney of $108,940.

He is one of five winners from six to race for former smart metropolitan winning Unbridled’s Song (USA) mare Southern Rose.

Southern Rose has a yearling filly from the first crop of champion European sprinter Dream Ahead (USA).
