Inglis Easter Success for Mill Park

Mill Park Stud presented five outstanding yearlings at the 2017 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale and sold all of them for a total of $2million.

With an average sale price of $400,000, Mill Park Stud was one of the top ten vendors on averages for three or more yearlings sold during session 1 of the three day sale.

Top seller for us was the Snitzel colt from Group 2 winner Dances On Waves (Anabaa) that made $600,000 when bought by Shadwell Australia with the colt likely to head to the LPark stable of David and Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig.

Not far behind was the grey Sebring half-brother to Caulfield Cup winner Fawkner that made $420,000 when bought by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.

Selling for the same amount was the half-sister by Foxwedge to Kris Lees' stakes-winner Guard Of Honour from Victory Cry that was purchased by South Africa's Ridgemont Stud and their trainer Brett Crawford.

The filly will join the Camelot x Miss With Attitude colt purchased by Heywood Bloodstock and Mayfair Speculators at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale that will head to South Africa.
