Melbourne, November 12 - Saluting in the very first juvenile race of the season in Adelaide last month was smart Not a Single Doubt filly Atalanta Miss, who is now being prepared for a crack at the $200,000 Magic Millions Clockwise Classic to be held at Ballarat on November 22.

A $55,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase for Prime Thoroughbreds from the draft of Mill Park, the Patrick Payne trained Atalanta Miss showed she was in top form when edging out Eclat to win a clockwise trial at Ballarat on Tuesday afternoon.

Bred by Brenton and Liz Parker, Atalanta Miss is the third winner from three foals to race from Rory’s Jester mare Our Greta, a daughter of Group I winner Silky Oak.

Atalanta Miss has a close up 3 x 2 double cross of Golden Slipper winner and noted speed influence Rory’s Jester, so it’s no surprise to see her out and running early with the $2 million Magic Millions Classic in January firmly in her sights.
